Following is the foreword of the book “??? and the End of Probability”

Foreword for the second edition

This book is a revision of the first part of the double-book “The End of Probability and the New Meaning of Quantum Physics”, which was published through a print-on-demand house in August 2002 and is still available on the worldwide web at the time of this writing. I was about to write a long foreword for this edition but, after careful consideration, I decided not to. It suffices to say that I have learned a few things from the first edition. This edition is my renewed effort to make it easier for the reader to judge my ideas on their merits.
Having said that, I do anticipate negative reactions, not only from diehard proponents of the Probability theory but also from many mainstream scientists. At the same time, I am very firm in my conviction that the ideas contained in this book will be a part of the next scientific revolution. It may take ten or twenty years, but that revolution will eventually come, because it has long been overdue.
The Probability theory has been a very useful tool of science for three centuries. I am personally grateful to the great men and women who have developed this branch of knowledge to its present state. Although this book calls for the end of probability so that science can move forward on a more solid footing, it could not have come to existence without the knowledge accumulated by the Probability theory. As for the rest, I’ll let the book speak for itself and I invite you, the reader, to judge its value.
